A subject four standard deviations above its own normal. A story that arrived in the last hour. Two continents covering the same event in opposite tones. Every card states the change and links to the text it was measured from.

Foresight

Call where a subject goes tomorrow

Louder, the same, or quieter — settled a day later against the level captured at the time of the call, never one refetched. A subject Bellrock loses sight of resolves unscorable, because that is its failure and not yours.

Under the hood

A number on screen is either measured or absent

An earlier version manufactured a planet from a random number generator — votes ticking up with the clock, regions disagreeing on cue, comment threads from invented handles. It was the most convincing thing in the app and the least defensible, so it was deleted and rebuilt on live sources.

The sentiment scale is uncalibrated and the app says so: it publishes the baseline beside the level and reports distances rather than pretending zero is neutral.

Questions about Bellrock?

Feature requests and bug reports are genuinely welcome — most of what these apps do came from someone pointing out that the alternative was annoying.
